Experts from around the world will meet next March in Bilbao to discuss the future of gastronomy, in which women will have a much more important role than today. With ‘inspiration’ as an excuse, they will show the experience of professionals who are changing the world with small actions
What is Parabere Forum? It is an International non-profit organization, whose aim is to highlight the vision and role of women in the culinary field.
What is behind the topic ‘inspiraction’? In 2015 Parabere Forum will acknowledge, celebrate and support the outstanding work of remarkable individuals, who are quietly changing the World through gastronomy.
Is Parabere Forum a forum for women? No. As far as the aim is highlight women’s voices, speakers are all woman, but not participants. It is an humanistic forum open to everybody.
Who are the participants? The organization expect 400 participants, women and men, chefs, sommeliers and producers from 45 countries.
How is the Forum organized? In the morning, each 30’ a speech will take place with famous speakers like Vandana Shiva, Hilal Elver, María Fernanda di Giacobbe, etc. In the afternoon, will take place the most Interactive part, with trainings, discussions, talks and debates with Allan Jenkins, Thais Compoint, Ruth Reichl, etc.
When and where? Sunday 1st and monday 2nd of March. In Bilbao, at la Alhondiga, an old oil and wine store from 1905, redesigned by Philippe Starck.
